Waris Punjab De’s advisor Daljeet Kalsi arrested by Punjab Police

Punjab, India: The close aide of the Waris Punjab De leader Amritpal Singh, Daljeet Kalsi, has been arrested by the Punjab Police in its latest crackdown on the radical separatist organization. Kalsi is a resident of West Punjabi Bagh and is currently the advisor and the finance manager of ‘Waris Punjab De’. Kalsi has been detained by Punjab Police under section 3(2) of the National Security Act.

The Punjab Police has found a link between Daljit Kalsi and Amritpal Singh as he was seen submitting a memorandum against India to the Consul General of Pakistan in the Sikh Separatist hub in Vancouver, Canada. Moreover, Kalsi has often been spotted publically, alongside Waris Punjab De’s on the flee leader, Amritpal.

It is also being reported that Kalsi was the man behind the suspicious anointment of Amritpal as the ‘Mukh Sevadar of the organization following the death of the founder of the organization, Sandeep Singh, popularly known in Punjab as Deep Sidhu. Notably, Deep Sidhu died in a road mishap on 15 February last year.

Daljeet Kalsi, an actor and a writer by profession, has also been linked to the Ajnala Police station incident. As the sources report, Kalsi was also a part of the conspiracy to vandalize Ajnala Police station on February 23, 2023 in active liaison with the Pakistani establishment via the Consulate General in Vancouver and Dubai.

At the same time, it is evident to the National Security planners that Sikh extremist activities are being financially aided by Canada and the United Kingdom. Moreover, the national security agencies of these nations have been overlooking Indian security concerns.
