Tbilisi to host 12th Eastern European Academy for Social Democacy

The FES Regional Office “Dialogue Eastern Europe” has taken to their social media account to announce the 12th Eastern European Academy for Social Democracy on Climate Action & Social Justice in the EaP Region. The twelfth edition of the event will take place in Tbilisi, Georgia. The event will take place during the first week of October. 

The sources have suggested that the FES Regional Office “Dialogue Eastern Europe” are responsible for arranging and organizing these events. The authorities have asserted that they are extremely excited to welcome the various progressive minds and advocates working for climate change and climate action to our upcoming 12th Eastern European Academy for Social Democracy on Climate Action & Social Justice in the EaP Region!

As per the update shared by the organizers, the unique opportunity aims to empower individuals dedicated to addressing climate change and promoting environmental justice in the EaP countries. The Eastern Partnership (EaP) has 6 partner countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine. 

Meanwhile, the organizers have shared through their social media accounts that the 5-day program fosters innovative solutions and collaborative initiatives that contribute to sustainable development, climate resilience, and social equity in the EaP region. 

Further, The FES Regional Office “Dialogue Eastern Europe” claimed that the programme uses a combination of capacity building and networking. Meanwhile, the program aims to support local actors in driving positive change and creating a more just and sustainable future at local, national, and regional levels. 

The FES Regional Office “Dialogue Eastern Europe” will host the 2023 edition of the 12th Eastern European Academy for Social Democracy on Climate Action & Social Justice at Tbilisi, Georgia, from October 2-6, 2023

The organizers have invited young politicians, environmentalists, eco-activists, political scientists, researchers, journalists and other young professionals from EaP countries to join them in the collective effort to combat climate change, promote social justice, and create a more just and sustainable future for the EaP region.

They announced that the language of the seminar is English. Further, the organizers will cover travel and accommodation costs. The final deadline for submission of applications is, August 30.
