A one-week training course on the European Union project on the topic, Introduction to Open Intelligence (OSINT) and Online Investigation for Investigative Service Investigators of the Ministry of Finance has recently started in Tbilisi, Georgia.
EU-funded project Cyber East, “European Union Law Enforcement Training Agency” (CEPOL), the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the Academy of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia organized a training course “, Introduction to Open Intelligence (OSINT) and Online Investigation for Ministry of Finance investigators” (Open- Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Online Investigation for the investigators of the Ministry of Finance).
Twenty-five investigators from the Georgia Ministry of Finance participated in the training.
The training aims to enhance the practical skills of Finance Ministry investigators, proper use of OSINT tools and current methodology.
The training will be led by EU experts who will share their knowledge and experience in open insurance methodology with the participants through theoretical materials and practical tasks. The course is being delivered online through the EU Law Enforcement Training Agency LEED platform.
The Weeklong EU-funded course “Open-Source Intelligence and Online Investigation of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance” was initiated for the investigators.
Within the framework of the joint EU and Council of Europe Cyber East project, in cooperation with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training.
Twenty-five investigators of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia are participating in the training.
The training aims to improve the practical skills of the investigators of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance to ensure the correct use of tools and familiarization with the existing methodology.
The experts from the European Union lead the training. They will share their knowledge and experience about the methodology of Open Source Intelligence with the participants, with theoretical materials and practical exercises.
The training course is held in an online format through the LEED platform of the EU Agency for Law Enforcement Training.
