Akhaltsikhe Municipality announces festive events for New Year’s Eve

Georgia: The Akhaltsikhe Municipality in Georgia’s southern region of Samtskhe-Javakheti has prepared a series of festive events to celebrate New Year’s Eve with its residents and visitors. 

The events will occur in different locations of the municipality, such as the city of Vale and the city of Akhaltsikhe, from December 24 to December 29, 2023.

The events will include various activities, such as lighting of the Christmas trees, concerts, performances, fireworks, and more. The events will feature local and national artists, such as Nino Chkheidze, the band “Face”, Linda Adam, the group “1/4”, Kabu, the duet “Georgia”, and Bedina.

The events will also involve the participation of Santa Claus, fairy tale heroes, and the music school drummers’ show.

The events will start on December 24 at 18:00 in Vale, near the Culture House. The program will include a happy New Year greeting, lighting of the sister-in-law tree, a concert by Nino Chkheidze, and celebratory fireworks. The events will continue on December 25 at 19:00 in Akhaltsikhe, at the Shota Rustaveli statue area. 

The program will include a New Year performance of Santa Claus and fairy tale heroes, a music school drummers’ show, a happy New Year greeting, a concert with participation of local performers, lighting of the main Christmas tree, a musical performance by the band “Face”, and celebratory fireworks.

The events will resume on December 27 at 18:00 in Akhaltsikhe, at the Shota Rustaveli statue area. The program will include a concert by Linda Adam, the group “1/4”, and Kabu.

The events will conclude on December 29 at 18:00 in Akhaltsikhe, at the Shota Rustaveli statue area. The program will include a concert by the duet “Georgia” and Bedina.

The Akhaltsikhe Municipality invites everyone to join the festive events and enjoy the New Year’s Eve celebrations. The municipality also wishes everyone a happy and prosperous New Year 2024.
