It is the result of the invaluable work of each teacher that today we have successful young people who represent Georgia in the international arena. I believe that it is with your professionalism and perseverance that many more renowned, educated generations will be raised in our country, which will lay a firm foundation for the development and progress of our country.
I am confident that by providing professional development and implementing supportive programs for teachers, we will further enhance the appreciation and prestige of the teacher profession. International Teacher’s Day has been celebrated in more than 100 countries of the world since 1994. The main purpose of establishing this day is to support the teacher profession and to appreciate the work of teachers.
