Privacy is a very vulnerable issue, and any country can apply wiretapping. It’s very simple; there are so many conspiratorial organizations, there are hacking organizations that have the ability to hack your cell phone, listen to you, steal your entire database”, Garibashvili stated.

The Georgian leader further said that he wouldn’t be speculating anything based on the conversations that have been edited by someone. Moreover, the investigation would make things clear in case any evidence is found.

The whole of Georgia listens to the ruling Georgian Dream party. The state security service also listens to us because we are the ruling party”, said the head of the government.

In a conversation with local media, Garibashvili commented on the MP’s of the Georgian Dream ruling party joining the Popular Force, a public moment that has been created by the former members of the ruling party who had left the team in June, stated that democracy exists in Georgia and “any individual” could join “any” organization or union, as it has been their constitutional right.

We have our firm position, a steadfast choice – this is our Euro-Atlantic integration, which is reflected in the constitution, and no one can change this choice”, Garibashvili added.
