Georgia: PM Garibashvili meets Azerbaijani PM Ali Asadov during Joint Intergovt. Commission

Tbilisi: The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Gharibashvili met the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov during the 9th session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Georgia.

Tbilisi: The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Gharibashvili met the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov during the 9th session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Georgia.

As the head of government noted, the exemplary partnership of Georgia and Azerbaijan will help to make the South Caucasia more stable.

After the meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia, the parties signed several documents, including- “Memorandum of Understanding between the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Commerce and Azerbaijan;

Memorandum of Understanding between the Agency for Small and Medium Business Development of the Azerbaijan and Georgia;

Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ministry of Agriculture About cooperation in the field of agriculture.”

Also, case of intent was signed between the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan”.

“Intentions on cooperation between the Ministry of Ancient Economy and Sustainable Development and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the field of mineral resources”.

“Greetings Mr. Prime Minister, dear colleagues. It was my great honor to host our friend, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ali Asadov and the delegation of Azerbaijan. Joint Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation meeting will be held today, I would like to welcome you all. First of all, I would like to point out once again that our countries have very close economic cooperation, strategic partnership and, most importantly, friendship.

 “Our relationship is truly unique, which has been experienced over recent years and centuries. I would also like to mention that this year we mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. There is full understanding and full friendship between our people, countries. These relations are getting deeper and deeper, I would also like to note that with our exemplary partnership, we will contribute to a more stable South Caucasia“, stated Garibashvili. 

 The Azerbaiajni Prime Minister, Ali Asadov, hailed the intergovernmental commission meeting, stating “the intergovernmental commission meeting is a good opportunity to discuss ways to further develop relations between the two countries and expand spheres of cooperation.”

Mr. Prime Minister, dear Commission members, I believe that the bilateral intergovernmental commission between Georgia and Azerbaijan will contribute to our dynamic economic development. “We will thank you again”, – Ali Asadov said.
