Georgia: Traffic heading to Europe Square from Gorgasali Square to Metekhi bridge to remain restricted

Tbilisi: Due to the planned New Year’s concert on Europe Square, from 00:00 on December 30 to 00:00 on January 4, the movement of vehicles from Gorgasali Square to Metekhi Bridge and Metekhi Ascent in the direction of Europe Square will be completely restricted.

The restriction will also apply to vehicles moving from the tunnel on the left bank of Mtkvari in the direction of Europe Square and from Europe Square in the direction of the Wine Hill. Cars will be able to move from Vakhtang Gorgasali Street in the direction of Gorgasali Square and Kote Abkhaz Street. Also, from Tumaniani Street in the direction of Gorgasali Street.

Based on the mentioned change, buses: N301, N331, N344, N345, N350, N371 and minibuses: N538, N547, N550, N580 will be able to move from Gorgasali Street to Metekhi Bridge in the direction of Kote Abkhaz Street, while they will continue to move from Freedom Square according to the established schedule.

Bus N333 from Khetagurov Street in the direction of Avlabari Square, Europe Instead of the square, it will go from Baratashvili Bridge to Baratashvili Street, turn around at the beginning of Pushkini Street, after which it will move in the direction of Avlabri Square according to the established pattern.

As for N538, N547, N550 and N580, minibuses from Gorgasali Street, instead of Metekhi Bridge, will continue their movement in the direction of Kote Abkhaz Street, after which, from Freedom Square, N547 and N580 will drive according to the established schedule. Routes N538 and N550 will pass over the Baratashvili bridge and move through the right bank of Mtkvari, according to the established scheme.
