Tbilisi: The Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development and the Vice Prime Minister, Levan Davitashvili, met international investment consultants and location managers who were on a working visit to Georgia.
The purpose of the visit of the influential Canadian and British consultants to Georgia is to get to know the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector of Georgia. In this regard, the prospective investors seek to explore the investment potential of Georgia, having collected first-hand information before making any investments in Georgian enterprises.
At the same time, the managers are visiting the Georgian agency “Manufacture in Georgia”. During their visit, they held meetings with government agencies as well as local and foreign companies representing the BPO sector.
According to Levan Davitashvili, Georgia is a very interesting destination for leading companies that need to outsource their business processes.
“In order to better represent Georgia’s business climate, we have started recruiting managers of specific locations in target markets within the framework of the agency “Manufacture in Georgia”.
Our goal is to attract even more business to Georgia, to make more investments and to bring famous companies to invest in our country. Experiences for this in various target markets speak to leading companies that need to outsource business processes and have been looking for new locations. Georgia is a very interesting destination for them, and I think this project will really be a successful one.
In addition, it is important for us to introduce such companies to the country that will help to increase the qualifications of employees” – said Levan Davitashvili.
