Tbilisi: The National Defense Academy of Georgia conducted a student conference with a sectional principle on May 4, 2023. The student conference included discussions on various topics which covered the following areas: Informatics – Information Technology, Trends and Challenges; 21st-century conflicts on the Eurasian continent; Challenges, Prospects and Achievements in Economy and Management; Modern Engineering Technologies.
The event was opened by the head of the National Defense Academy Baccalaureate, Colonel Zurab Zerekidze who delivered a welcoming speech at the event and interacted with the reporters. Following the opening speech, the works were presented at the conference by students of the Caucasus University, SIP Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and junkers of the Defense Academy of Georgia.
As the officials present at the event noted, the presented reports were diverse and covered topical issues such as: “Manuscripts and Military History of Georgia”, “New Wars Theory and Analysis of Conflict on the Eurasian Continent”, “Concept to Reality: Drones”, “Social Media and the concerns of Privacy Security on social media platforms and many other recent topics.
During the course of the event, reporters also participated in the discussions on issues surrounding the conference topics which were presented by the students.
At the end of the event, the head of the Academy Baccalaureate, Colonel Zurab Zerekidze and the head of the Scientific Research Center, Colonel Giorgi Laghiashvili, awarded the participants certificates and recognized their efforts in making the student conference of the National Defense Academy a successful one.
In addition to this, the Defense Officials expressed their willingness to continue with similar conferences in the future as well.
