Tbilisi: The Caucasus University of Georgia organised a seminar called “ Employment Forum 2023”. The Forum was aimed at making students aware of the various career opportunities. It was held on the November 10, 2023.
Kakhaber Kordzia, Reactor of the Caucasus University, inaugurated the opening session of the Forum. He, while speaking at the opening, said that “it is very important for the university to organise this kind of forum. These kinds of forums allow university students to get familiar with the companies and job opportunities being offered by these companies. This will give them a chance to get employed with the top and world level international company”.
He further said that students always benefit and that the university will arrange to hold more of these kinds of forums in future.
Besides other speakers, Mariam Jachvade also addressed the attendees at the occasion. He is the head of the CIUs of Continuing Education and Career Development and Services.
He stated that “the goal of this Forum is to enable students and employers and companies of local and international companies to interact with the each other . Moreover, the student can also interact greatly with these companies on career development”.
Origins of the company further said that such kind of career seminar would be very beneficial. they also said that with a large number of career options and students, sometimes also feel confused. So, this Forum is the best platform for students to explore better career options and establish a better future.
Participating students also expressed their happiness and said that it was a wonderful experience to be part of this Forum on career development. They said that the university always helps the students with these student-oriented seminars and activities.
Many participating companies offered the job to the students at the Forum. University administration also stated that such kind of career seminar will be regularly held in the future.
