She is one of the most famous artists in the country who gained worldwide fame in the varius field of art including movies.
She was born into the family of the famous singer and performer of Georgian Urban Romance Deb Ishkhneli. Manana Menabdi began to participate at the age of Sixteen years in a vocal-instrumental Ensemble called “Rero” concerts.
She graduated from the Moscow Theatre Institute with a speciality as Estrada director. Her basic education was at the Tbilsi’s Shota Rustaveli Theatre Institute under the leadership of Mikheli Tumanishvili.
In her professional life, Manana Menabde worked for many musical and entertainment programs. She also worked as an actor with the “Improv Theatre ” of Moscow. Moreover, she also conducts Solo concerts and presents to the audience a unique and wonderful interpretation of the German, Russian, and European Romances.
The first time her music was heard in the movie “Today is the Night of Dawn” of 1982. This movie was directed by Lana Ghoghoberidze. In this movie, she performed her own song and also played the main role.
Moreover, she also appeared in many other films like “Arsena’s Poem” in 1986 and “Wisdom of Lies” in 1991.
