Joey Jordison (Slipknot) the greatest drummer in the world

Joey Jordison is a drummer and co-writer of a metal band called Slipknot. He is also a guitarist of the band horror punk band Murderdolls. He is also known as a founder member of the group Scar the Martyr(2013). 

Joey is currently part of the band called Sinsaenum and lived in Waukee, Iowa, With siblings and parents. He started learning drums at the age of eight and started his career at a very young age. His first band was The Pale Ones (1995), which is in the present called Slipknot.

As part of the Slipknot band, he performed on four albums while producing the live album(9.0 live). He also performed with other bands such as Metallica. Korn, Otep, etc.

After disbanding from the band, Slipknot, Joey revealed that he is suffering from a neurological disorder, transverse myelitis, a disease that causes inflammation of the spinal cord, which affects the legs and back.

“I got myself back, and I got myself in the gym, and I got myself in therapy, to f–king beat this shit.”

Joey announced during the award ceremony of Golden God Awards that he is healthy and recovered. 

“I’m stronger than I’ve ever been — that sounds like a cheesy f–king line, I understand. But it took me a long time, man, to recover and get my strength back … It was the scariest f–king thing I ever went through in my life and I busted my ass, got the right trainers. I was not gonna play drums again.”

Jordison further stated that he has recovered and wants to continue playing drums in the band. He was dismissed from the band through the mail because of the illness but, he clarified later that his bad habits were not the cause of this disorder. He is now a part of the band Vimic and Sinsaenum.

PERSONAL LIFE OF JOEY:

Currently, Joey is not dating anyone, plus he is not married and, his net worth is more than six million dollars. He is 45 years old and 5’3 ft tall.

Joey was declared the best drummer by Rhythm Magazine. He has dedicated all his life to music and winning love from all around the world. The best drummer alive, stated by Loud Wire and its readers. He started his career at the mere age of five and is still going strong.
