The company claims that the change is the result of increased electricity, train maintenance, materials and other costs in recent years.

From July 25, the cost of travelling by double-decker trains in the Tbilisi-Batumi-Tbilisi direction is:

  • Second class – 34 GEL;
  • First class – 74.00 GEL;
  • Business class – 124 GEL;

The cost of travelling by passenger trains in the direction of Tbilisi-Poti, Zugdidi, Ozurgeti and Kutaisi remained unchanged. All concessions on mainline electric trains for students, war veterans and railway workers remain in effect.

 There is also a children’s rate (50%) – for children under ten years old in all categories of seats. Also, one child under the age of 5 travels for free with the passenger unless he occupies a separate seat.
