Georgia: Presentation held on sanitary services by Chamber of Notaries

The Chamber of Notaries of the Republic of Georgia recently held a presentation on sanitary services. This was dedicated to providing better sanitary services to the Displaced people of Abkhazia and Beyond Enguri.

On the occasion, the Chamber of Notaries held a presentation on the availability of sanitary services for refugees in these places. This was organized and invited by the Abkhazia government, and member of the board of the Chamber of Notaries. Meanwhile, Notary Ekaterine Marshania made a presentation to make the audience aware of available services.

It is to be specifically mentioned that representatives of the Abkhazia government also visited the Sanitary Office of Rukhis Notary Tamar Janashia and got themself familiar with the working environment of the office.

At the same time, there was also a screening of a film dedicated to the specific needs and providing sanitary services to the displaced people from Abkhazia and beyond Engur and efforts being made by Government authorities.

It is to be noted that increasing access to sanitary services is a priority direction of the Ministry of Justice.
A similar event, “Increasing the awareness of the persecuted community on legal issues and services,” was organised by the Ministry of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia.

Meanwhile, this meeting was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, the Minister of Justice and Civil Integration, the First Deputy State Trustee of Samegrelo-Upper Svaneti, Mayor of Zugdidi Municipality and Notary of Village Rukhi.

Notary chamber also took to their social media page to inform the general public of this progress. One user, Tamaz Khubua, commented, “ I liked the fabulousness of the event – it is clearly aimed at the protection of IDPs! Such activities from the Abkhazian government structures are welcome and supported, unlike, in some cases, the facade and incomprehensible banal “PR-Khalafort” announced and carried out by the same structures! I think the minister’s apparatus is looking for the right accents in work! I wish them the best of luck in the future!”

Similarly, many other users appreciated the intuition of the chamber of notaries and said that such a presentation should be held in future as well for the betterment of displaced people.
