Georgia: National Academy of Sciences to host meeting “ Russian-Ukraine War”

Georgian National Academy of Sciences has announced to organise a seminar on Thursday,21st December,2023. This seminar will be held on the theme of “Russian War in Ukraine and Challenges Of the World Economy”. The speaker of the occasion will be Academician Vladimir Papava. Participants will have an opportunity to get an in-depth analysis of War and its aftermath.

The National Acadamy of Science took to its social media page to inform regarding this information and stated “ Announcement-On December 21, 2023, at 14:00, the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia will be holding a meeting of Ekvtime Takaishvili Historical Society on the topic: “Russian war in Ukraine and challenges of the world economy”.Reporter – Academician Vladimir Papava.Address: Rustaveli Ave. 52; 3rd floor hallway”.

As Georgia has recently got the status of a Candidate country in the Europen Union, the patricians will discuss the effect of war on Georgia’s Effort to become a full-time member of the Europen Union in Future.

Europe has been hugely impacted by War. The Ukraine and Russia are major suppliers of Grains and Natural Gas to Europe. After the war Broke Most of the Europen Countries are facing challenges to meet the requirmenet of Grain and natural gas.The war broke between Ukraine and Russia in February 2022. This was a vital time for the economies of the world as countries across the world were struggling to overcome the ill effects of COVID-19.

But attack by Russia to Ukraine placed Further burden on World Economies. War also affected the agriculture sector across the world especially in Europe. This also displaced a large number of farmer of Ukraine and Europe.

This seminar also forced Million of peole to flee the Ukraine. It is specifically to be mentioned that many efforts to normalise the situation between both countries have failed. Both sides are adamant to Continue the war. The Meeting will also discuss the challenge for the peace process. The ways to overcome the challenges will also be explored as well.
