Ozurgeti: deputy mayor visits disabled people

Natia Goliadze, the deputy mayor of the Ozurgeti city hall, recently visited the people with special needs. She visits them to congratulate on the eve of Christmas and New Year which is just one day away.

During her visit to these people, she had a personal interaction with each of them. She knew the challenges they were facing and the problems that they wanted to share with the deputy mayor.

The deputy mayor also came to know many problems being faced by these people and assured everyone that she would try to sort these problems out as soon as possible.

She said that these people are an integral part of the Georgia society. She said that more financial assistance will be provided to make the lives of these people easy.

On the occasion, the deputy mayor also apprised the about the various measures that are being taken by the municipality for the welfare of these people with special needs.

It is to be specifically mentioned that the deputy mayor was also accompanied by many officials of the municipality.

To make this time more memorable she distributed sweets and gifts to them as well. She also got clicked the images with them.

All the people who received the gifts and sweets were very happy. They thanked the deputy mayor for beautiful gifts and sweets. They also thanked the mayor for launching many welfare schemes for them.

Meanwhile, Ozurgeti City Hall also took to their social media handles to share information with regard to this development. Social media users appreciate the initiative of the deputy mayor and city hall administration.

One user, namely Tamuna Gogitidze, commented that “you are an exemplary person natis”.
Another user commented that the” deputy mayor is the best politician and is always ready to help the needy”.

Notably, the deputy mayor of the Ozurgeti city hall is very active in the social welfare schemes in the municipality. She used to visit these people to get the required information about the problems of the people who needed any kind of help.

She also provides financial assistance to needy people and encourages others to initiate welfare programs and policies for needy people.
