Vakhtang Gomelauri meets leaders of special task department

Tbilisi: Vakhtang Gomelauri, The Minister of Internal Affairs, together with his deputy, Ioseb Chelidze, held a meeting with the leaders of the Department of Special Tasks to review the department’s efficient functioning.

It is to be added that this important meeting was also attended by the Director of the Department of Special Tasks, Zviad Kharazishvili. He provided all the basic information about the workings of the special task department to the minister.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        

It is to be specifically mentioned that the discussion at the working meeting touched on the implemented and ongoing infrastructure projects in the Special Tasks Department, which aim to improve the working conditions of the employees.

Moreover Currently, the construction of the base of the Special Tasks Department in the village of Krtsanis in Gardabani is going on. It includes barracks, a canteen, a sports hall, a check-in point, a parking garage and other necessary supporting infrastructure etc.

In the city of Kutaisi, the construction works of the appropriate base for the deployment of the Special Tasks Department are also underway, while in Tbilisi, the construction of a four-story barracks and the improvement works of the surrounding area are soon to be completed.

The construction of panel buildings for the Department of Special Tasks, including barracks, office and warehouse buildings, and canteens, the total cost of which is more than 17 million GEL, is underway throughout different parts of Georgia.

The process of infrastructure development will continue and the construction of the base of Telavi and Rustavi special tasks department is already planned.

Vakhtang Gomelauri thanked the employees of the department for their work. He also said that the government would improve the working conditions of the employees by providing them with all the necessary assistance as well.Social media users also appreciated this effort of the government.
