In Spain, the police officials have said that they have arrested a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of killing his parents and 10-year- old brother with a rifle over lousy school grades.

As per reports, the incident took place on Tuesday in evening in a countryside area just close to Elche, which is about 20 km away from the southeastern port city of Alicante.

According to a police official, it wasn’t discovered until Friday night when a relative came to check on them.

Moreover, the police spokesman said the mother’s sister paid a visit to the home because she hadn’t heard anything from the family, and that is when her nephew told her that he had killed his father, mother and brother. She dialled the cops, who confirmed finding three dead bodies in the house.

The police then apprehended the adolescent, a fifteen-year-old minor, who had been alone for three days in the house with the dead bodies of his mother, father and brother.

The boy told the police that he argued with his mother over his lousy school grades, adding then he used his father’s hunting rifle to shoot his mother, then his 10-year-old brother and then waited for his father to arrive before targeting him in the chest.

As per the police spokesman, the family was local to the area but not known to police authorities.

As per the investigation, it is reported that one thing being considered is that the dispute was sparked over the 15-year-old’s punishment for failing five subjects at school in which his internet access at home had been taken away by the parents.

The mayor of Elche, Carlos González said, the case has shocked the locality. The boy who committed the crime will be taken to the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office, where he will be assigned with a defence attorney. He will be placed in a reform centre for minors.
