Dominica: Labour Ministry organizes Health and Wellness based Micro Trade Show

Roseau, Commonwealth of Dominica: The Ministry of Labour and Public Service Reform is organizing a Health and Wellness based Micro Trade Show on June 9-10, 2023, at the Stadium Forecourt. The timings for the show will be 9 AM- 7 PM.

The trade show has been centralized on the theme- ‘Your Body Your Responsibility’. The Ministry has set up eligibility criteria for businesses that look forward to registering for the show. As per the criteria, the first requisite is that products/ services must have a health focus, i.e. nutrition, fitness, alternative medication, mental health, skin, hair care, nutritional supplements or other products of health or medicinal value.

The second requisite for the registration provides that the Business must be categorized as a Micro/Small Business enterprises. At the same time, it must be noted that the registration is totally free, without any kind of charges.

By organizing events of such kind, the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development of Dominica ensures that the small/micro business firms remain competitive in the market and make a respectable amount of profit within the framework of the micro trade show.

Moreover, the show will provide an impetus to the young, budding entrepreneurs in the region who look forward to opting for the health and wellness sector as their career or startup by providing them with a platform to exhibit their innovative products and get hold of their target segment of the market.

The Ministry has urged the citizens of Dominica to attend the show and encourage these small/micro businesses in the country.
