Georgia: With the unwavering support of the National Wine Agency and the Embassy of Georgia in the Republic of Korea, 10 Georgian wine companies are set to make a mark in Seoul.
They will participate in the International Wine and Alcoholic Beverages Exhibition, the Seoul International Wine and Spirits Expo 2024, from July 4 to 6, 2024.
During the exhibition, Georgian producers will be engaging in crucial meetings with Korean wine importers and professionals. These interactions are not just about the present, but also about the promising future of Georgian wine sales in South Korea and the wider Asian markets.
The Seoul International Wine & Spirits Expo, a key platform for the introduction of new wines to the Korean market, is one of the most significant annual events for wine and alcoholic beverages in the Asia region. Notably, the first presentation of Georgian wine in the Republic of Korea was at this prestigious exhibition in 2015.
With the support of the National Wine Agency, the Vice President of the International Somali Association of Korea, and the founder of the Korean Wine Writers Club Chan Jun Park (Chan Jun Park), a large-scale Georgian wine tasting was held and attended by more than 150 guests.
The Republic of Korea, a leading wine importer globally, alongside China and Japan, is a strategic market for Georgian wine in the Asian region. The National Wine Agency is actively supporting a range of marketing measures to capitalize on this potential for growth.
