Tbilisi: The London Wine Fair, held for three days from May 20 to 22, was attended by thirteen Georgian wine companies. More than 400 exhibitors from different parts displayed their products at the fair.
According to the National Wine Agency of Georgia, thirteen companies participated in the London wine fair  which was supported by the Georgian embassy in the United Kingdom of England. The London Wine Fair is considered one of the largest fairs and the best platform for wine producers to find new trading partners worldwide.
The fair also hosted thousands of guests from all over the world, including wine experts, wine producers, and media representatives. Â On this special occasion, under the exhibition framework, the contractor of the National Wine Agency, the head of the British company Swirl Wine Group, and wine master Sarah Abbott (Sarah Abbott) held presentation-cum-tastings event of Georgian wine for wine professionals.
Georgian wines , winners at the International Wine Competition 2023 (IWSC), were also presented at this event. The Georgian Ambassador to Great Britain and the Ambassador of Northern Ireland to the United Kingdom attended the exhibition.
London Wine Fair exhibition has been held since 1981 and is considered one of the most important events in the wine sector. There was a special space for displaying the wines. Georgia is called the homeland of world-famous wines. Â The Georgian pavilion attracted a huge number of wine lovers from different countries who arrived here.
Wine lovers learned about the rich culture of Georgian wine, especially the qvevri method of winemaking. They also appreciated the wines at the tasting competitions.
It is to be noted that the National Wine Agency of Georgia is entrusted with promoting Georgian wine at the international level. The agency used to organize seminars, workshops, and exhibitions in this direction from time to time. The agency is also responsible for finding international trade partners.
