In a big setback for Georgian people living abroad, the Government of Ireland has deported 32 Georgisn citizens. The order in this regard is issued by justice department of Georgia.
The officials of Justice department said that all of them have been issued prior order for deportation as well. All the people served with deportation order sent back on charted flight.
The move is being seen as another step to improve immigration rules in country. The minister of Justice Jim O’Callaghan also issued a specific statement about this latest development.
As per the justice minister of Ireland this is very “a significant start” towards “more effective immigration system”. The ministry of justice calls this last option as authorities has given many warning to people living without proper documentation in Georgia.
They also underlined that the people availing benefits under the liberal law forced government to take this strict move to expel these people out from country.
It is worth to note that despite legal measures, the data collected by various government agencies showed that in last year voluntary return has increased significantly.
The authorities have vowed to launch more such drive so that the number of illegal immigrants in country. Every country in most parts of world is making efforts to bring improvement in their immigration rules.
Recently the Government of united states of America has also deported large number of people from country. The large number of Indian were also deported from United States of America.
The people are being deported from united states of America on the army planes. Moreover, the people were handcuffed while their deportation to home countries. This illegal treatment by US authorities have created much controversy across the world.
The move being taken by Ireland Government also seems to be inspired by US action. The natives of Georgia have been raising this demand for a long time to tight rules. This will help to reduce number of illegal immigrant and protect job market for locals.
