Tbilisi, Georgia: The 32nd Annual International Professional Conference of NISPAcee in 2024 – “Public Administration in Post-Conflict Reconstruction”—has ended at Caucasus University (CU).
The conference of the NIPSAcee(Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe) was started on May 23 at Caucasus University. The Meeting was held under the theme”Public administration in post-conflict reconstruction.”
NISPAcee, a network of professionals in public administration and administration, is actively involved in promoting democratic and effective governance in Central and Eastern Europe. They do this through various means such as education, training, and research, demonstrating their commitment to their mission.
Notably, the current President of the NISPAcee network, Eka Akobia, also serves as the Dean of the Caucasus University Public School of Management, a testament to her leadership and expertise.
About 200 rectors, deans, professors, researchers, PhD students, and practitioners from the NISPAcee region visited Georgia during the event. The conference’s main topic, the pressing issue of post-conflict reconstruction, was thoroughly discussed. The conference reviewed and approved changing perspectives on the role of public governance and administration in this crucial phase.
At the end of the conference, in a moment of great honor and recognition, NISPAcee Executive Director Ludmila Gajosova presented the prestigious NISPAcee Merit Award to the President of the Caucasus University, Kakha Shengelia, by the decision of the organization’s Managing Committee.
It is worth noting that NISPAcee presents the prestigious NISPAcee Merit Award annually to a partner who has made a significant and lasting contribution to the organization’s activities. This award plays a crucial role in helping NISPAcee achieve its objectives and further its mission.
Caucasus University (CU)
