Georgia: Tea Akhvlediani, State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, launched an information campaign on state programs and services in Bolnisi as part of a two-day official visit to the Kvemo Kartli region.

Speaking to the public gathered at the Bolnisi Municipality, the State Minister noted that the information campaigns will be expanded to include issues related to state programs, Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration, anti-Western propaganda and disinformation, which have a particularly negative impact on the civil process.

During the visit, Tea Akhvlediani met with the population of the villages of Bolnisi and Dmanisi municipalities: Talaveri, Chapala, Nakhiduri, Kvemo and Zemo Orozmani and Mtisdziri. The State Minister said that the Georgian government, within the framework of the state policy on civic equality and integration, continues to make every effort to ensure that every citizen of our country, regardless of ethnicity, has equal opportunities, information on all current issues and proper involvement in important processes.

“Within the framework of the state policy on civic equality and integration, we are committed to promoting equal opportunities for all citizens of Georgia, regardless of their ethnicity, so that they can participate fully in various spheres of public life. In Bolnisi, we have launched a large-scale information campaign today, which covers the entire Kvemo Kartli region and aims to inform the population about state programs and services. In addition, during the two-day visit, we have already held meetings in Bolnisi and Dmanisi municipalities in densely populated villages populated by ethnic minorities, where we introduced our new visions and initiatives to the population and listened to their needs and opinions, “said State Minister Tea Akhvlediani.
