Kutaisi, Georgia: In Kutaisi, a ceremonial event dedicated to the thirteenth graduation was held. This year, 80 cadets graduated from General Giorgi Kvinitadze Military Lyceum.
The event was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including Georgian Minister of Defense Irakli Chikovani, Commander of Defense Forces, Major General Giorgi Matiashvili, Director of Cadets Military Lyceum, Colonel Malkhaz Goletiani, and other distinguished military officials.
The Minister of Defense addressed the graduates with a speech and congratulated them on the successful completion of the study process. “With values, love for the country, and honor instilled in the Lyceum, graduates of the Cadets Military Lyceum will surely have their say in the future, both in the military and in other civilian pursuits of their choice,” he noted.
In his speech, Irakli Chikovan discussed the ongoing construction of the Cadet Military Lyceum in East Georgia and noted that the Defense Administration’s policy includes several education projects.
The event continued with the award ceremony of cadets, lyceum teachers and military personnel.
Later, the Minister of Defense visited the building under construction, where a library, entertainment space, and conference hall will be set up. Irakli Chikovani also visited the training center, medical center, cadet housing barracks, simulation center, and gym in the Lyceum territory.
After the event, cadets presented patriotic-themed literary-creative compositions to invited guests. Cadets Military Lyceum is one of the outstanding Georgian general educational institutions in infrastructure and teaching quality.
During their studies at the Lyceum, cadets achieve significant success in a number of educational programs, including national olympiads, educational-creative conferences, and various competitions and events.
The Lyceum aims to develop cadets’ intellectual, cultural, and physical education and prepare them for service in the country at the military-civil level.
