Russia-Ukraine War: The General Staff of Ukraine, on Tuesday stated that the Russian Army has decided to send the guard units from the Siberian Military District and the Russian Military contingent that has been stationed in Syria in the combat zone.
The Ukrainian body also stated that in last 24 hours, the Russian military has carried out three missile and 12 air strikes and attacked more than 100 using rocket fire systems on the Ukrainian territory, on civilian as well as military facilities.
It noted that more than 20 settlements that, include Belogorodka, Zaitsevo, Mariinka and Bakhmut, located in the Donetsk region, suffered from aerial and missile attacks. As per the Ukrainian command, the use of tanks, mortars and artilleries in numerous settlements was made in another direction.
The General Staff stressed that in the last 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defense Forces had repelled attacks by the Russian military near seven settlements in the Donetsk region.
Within the reported period, the aviation forces of Ukraine had carried out 22 strikes and it confirmed the destruction of three support points of the enemy, 16 places where military equipment and weapons had been kept and three anti-aircraft missile complexes.Â
As per the command, the air defence bodies had shot down two unmanned aerial vehicles, the missile and artillery units destroyed two control points of enemy, 12 bases for manpower and military equipment, two godowns of ammunition and air defence facility.
