The administrative authorities of the Saburtalo district have announced the opening of a new public park. The park was established after dismantling five garages to expand the area of the park.
As per the information, park area have been expanded to facilitate more facilities in the park. It is to be specifically mentioned that under this project, 2300 square meters of area is covered. Park has covered all the basic and necessary infrastructure which includes lighting and irrigation networks.
The other facility also included a children’s entertainment and exercise area as well. This was to provide the facilities for the amusement and entertainment of children and other people of the area.
Authorities revealed that 1200 square meters of the area had been covered as a green belt. This greenbelt involves more than a hundred different types of trees and plants.
Speaking of the budget and financial cost of the project, nearly 555 000 GEL was allocated from the amount of the local budget, and the construction work was carried out by “Lago Ltd” by utilising the amount from the local budget.
Saburtalo district councillor Gizo Vasadze, along with Sakrebulo deputy Avtandil Tsintsadze, got information about the completed project after visiting the spot.
After the completion of work, the park has acquired a totally fresh and new look. , many swings and slides were installed for the children, and many little children came to the park with their parents and enjoyed it a lot.
It was amazing to see how an unorganised area was converted into a new entertainment park with the consistent efforts of the Saburtalo district efforts.
Saburtalo district councillors Gizo Vasadze and Avtandil Tsintsadze said that we are always keen to make the living standards of the locals high and of unique quality.
Children were enjoying a lot on swings and slides, and their parents were also very happy to see their children enjoying .
Parents also expressed their gratitude to the civic authorities and thanked them for the construction of a wonderful and beautiful park in the local area. They expressed hopes that this will benefit the citizens who are interested in spending quality time with their children and family members.
Local residents also demanded regular maintenance of the park to keep it neat and clean.
