Training for emergencies held at Tbilisi Int. Airport

Recently the management of the Tbilisi and Batumi International Airport organised a training under the name "training Tbilisi - 2023" at Tbilisi International Airport.This was to provide the necessary training to staff for rescue operations in case of a sudden emergency.

Tbilisi: Recently the management of the Tbilisi and Batumi International Airport organised a training under the name “training Tbilisi – 2023” at Tbilisi International Airport.This was to provide the necessary training to staff for rescue operations in case of a sudden emergency.

It is to be specifically mentioned that the training was conducted with a modelled scenario; it includes many situations that need immediate prevention, like spillage of aviation fuel, fire, etc.

In this session of training Members of “Tav Urban Georgia” Emergency and Rescue Center – Tbilisi International Airport Fire and Rescue Service, Aerodrome Service, Ground Service, Passenger Transport Service, Flight Operations Service, Ministry of Interior Protection Police Department Aviation Safety Authority Tbilisi Division, David Tatishvili The medical centre were present.

This kind of training is held regularly in Tbilisi and Batumi international airports. The aim of the training is to increase the efficiency of emergency response to prevent the loss of humans and property.Emergency Response Limited Exercise Tbilisi – 2023 was held at Tbilisi International Airport with the active support of local administration.

The members of TAV Georgia’s Emergency Operations Center – Tbilisi International Airport Fire and Rescue Service, Airfield Service, Ground Handling Service, Passenger Handling Service, Flight Operation Service, Aviation Security Unit of the Security Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Davit Tatishvili Medical Center took part in the training.

During the training a water cannon was also used to train the staff for fire situations. The members of rescue teams also used the safety equipment.The medical teams present at the spot train the participants on the first aid techniques. During the occasion, the plane of the Georgian Aviation University was used for training purposes.

After the training session, The management of the Tbilisi and Batumi International Airport took to social media handles to provide information on this training session.Social media users appreciated the training session. The organiser of the training session also said that every year a large number of people lose their lives due to sudden eruptions or emergency situations, but with the proper resue training, this loss can be prevented.
