Georgia:Â According to the National Environmental Agency, Georgia will experience cold and snowy weather in some regions until December 29, 2023.
The agency forecasts that the rainfall intensity will decrease on December 27-28, but heavy snow, fog and blizzards will still occur in parts of the highlands on December 28. Strong winds from the west will also affect the weather conditions.
The capital city of Tbilisi will have a slight rainfall and a strong northwest wind on December 28. The daytime temperature will range from +8 to +10 degrees Celsius.
The coastal regions of Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, and Poti will have rainy weather until December 29, with solid southwest winds on December 28. The daytime temperature will rise to +10 to +15 degrees Celsius.
The lower regions of western Georgia, such as Kutaisi, Zestafoni, Zugdidi, Martvili and Ozurgeti, will also have rainy weather until December 29. The daytime temperature will increase to +10 to +15 degrees Celsius.
The mountainous regions of western Georgia, such as Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere and Khulo, will have snowfall until December 29. The daytime temperature will increase to +8 to +10 degrees Celsius.
The highland regions of western Georgia, such as Mestia and Bakhmaro, will have snowfall until December 29, with strong wind, fog, and blizzards on December 28. The daytime temperature will be +2 to +4 degrees Celsius.
The regions of Kartli and Kakheti, such as Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneli, Gardabani, Gori, Tskhinvali, Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Signaghi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta and Dedoplistskaro, will have some rainy weather until December 29, with a solid west wind on December 28. The daytime temperature will be +8 to +10 degrees Celsius.
The mountainous regions of eastern Georgia, such as Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, Fasanauri and Dedoplistskaro, will have snowfall in some parts until December 29. The daytime temperature will be +4 to +9 degrees Celsius.
The highland regions of eastern Georgia, such as Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri and Omalo, will have snowfall until December 29, with strong wind, fog and blizzard on December 28. The daytime temperature will be -1 to +4 degrees Celsius.
