Dmanisi, Georgia: Dmanisi, a town in the Kvemo Kartli region of Georgia, welcomed the new year with a grand celebration organized by the government administration.
The event, which took place at the A(A)IP Culture and Art Center, featured a gala concert, festive fireworks and various activities for the guests.
The concert was headlined by famous Georgian singers Giorgi Makharashvili, SALIO – Salome Korkotashvili and the band Sherekilebi, who entertained the audience with their popular songs and performances. The concert was followed by a spectacular fireworks show that lit up the sky and marked the arrival of 2024.
The event also offered a range of attractions for the guests, who arrived at the venue at 14:00. They enjoyed the Christmas markets, exhibitions and sales, children’s entertainment areas, a costume orchestra march, wooden Christmas houses and photo stands. The Christmas village also hosted an exhibition sale of local entrepreneurs’ products, showcasing the creativity and talent of the Dmanisi residents.

From 14:00, guests visiting the A(A)IP Culture and Art Center were presented with various activities of all ages. Among them, Christmas fairs, exhibitions and sales, children’s entertainment venues were organized, a dressed orchestral march was held, and wooden New Year houses and photo corners were placed in the area.
Santa Claus, fairy tale heroes, and marching band cared for children’s and adults’ moods throughout the day. The exhibition and sale of local entrepreneurs’ products were held in the Milad village.
The event was attended by the Mayor of the municipality, Koba Muradashvili, the Chairman of the City Council, Paata Kuliashvili and representatives of local self-government, who joined the celebration and greeted the people. They also thanked the organizers and the performers for making the event successful.
