Rustavi, Georgia:Â The N1 kindergarten restoration-rehabilitation project has been completed within the framework of the restoration of historical buildings in Rustavi.
The city’s historic first kindergarten was built in the 50s and needed complete rehabilitation.
Rustavi Mayor Nino Latsabidze, State Commissioner of Lower Kartli Giorgi Dokhturishvili, Rustavi Majoritarian MP in the Parliament of Georgia Irakli Shatakishvili, Deputy Mayor of Rustavi Kakha Guruli, members of the City Council faction “Georgian Dream” and representatives of the Association of Kindergartens attended.
The mayor of Rustavi, Nino Latsabidze, writes on her Facebook account, “In Rustavi, today we opened a historic garden, which needed rehabilitation for years. Critical and complex jobs have been completed. I am glad that, from today, in Rustavi, we have another furnished, modern garden, which is part of our city’s history.”
Wholly rehabilitated, the oldest N1 kindergarten in the city, the educational and educational process has been renewed.
The project included reinforcement restoration and internal repairs to historic building floors and the installation of modern heating and fire safety systems. The kindergarten yard has walking paths, new green spaces, playgrounds and children’s combined attractions.
The historical kindergarten, equipped with modern equipment, will serve 210 educators. The project was financed by 1 716 021 GEL from the central and local budgets.
As part of the restoration of historical buildings in Rustavi, the restoration-rehabilitation project of N1 Kindergarten was completed. The historic first nursery school of the city was built in the 50s of the last century and needed complete rehabilitation.
The opening of the garden was attended today by Rustavi Mayor Nino Latsabidze, Kvemo Kartli State Governor of Kvemo Kartli Giorgi Dokhturishvili, Rustavi Majority Deputy in the Parliament of Georgia Irakli Shatakishvili, members of the city council faction “Georgian Dream” and representatives of the nursery school union.
In the city’s fully rehabilitated, oldest N1 kindergarten, the educational process resumed on January 15, 2024.
Within the framework of the project, the strengthening-restoration of both wings of the historical building and internal repair works were carried out; modern heating and fire safety systems were installed. The kindergarten garden was also improved with footpaths, new green spaces, amusement parks and combined attractions for children.
The historical kindergarten, equipped with modern equipment, will serve 210 children. The project was financed with 1,716,021 GEL from the central and local budgets.
