New kindergarten construction works have been completed in the territorial jurisdiction of Martvili municipality at the administrative unit of Badzi. This was established to provide world-class educational facilities to children.
It is to be specifically mentioned that under the framework of the program initiated by the Prime Minister of Georgia, the construction of this kindergarten was planned. Moreover, the construction of a kindergarten was financed with a budgetary amount of 4 391 388 GEL from the Georgian Municipal Development Fund.
At the same time within the project’s framework a building in accordance with modern standards was built which employed 100 educators. The building has children’s group rooms, bedrooms, a hall, a kitchen, waiting hall, and children’s playgrounds. The new kindergarten is adapted for people with disabilities.
It is worth noting that four kindergartens are under construction in Martvili municipality at this stage. This will also make the education sector more stable and progressive in the near future.
It is to be added that the building of the new school is very spacious and well constructed. There are provision of the staircase to reach the classes of upper floors.Classrooms are painted very well and well maintained. Every care is taken to make the rooms accessible for the children with special needs.
Due to a lack of accessibility many children with special needs are forced to leave school, but as this school has facilities for these children, it is expected that the maximum number of students from this category will benefit.
The playground for children’s activities is also well maintained. Different types of swings and slides were installed for their entertainment.There was downsealing work carried out on the roofs of classrooms that gave an attractive look to the rooms.
The administration of the local municipality also said that maximum efforts are being made to provide world-class educational facilities at affordable prices.
The local residents also expressed their happiness over the creation of the new kindergarten. They said that this is the best opportunity for all the students who want to get a quality education at affordable prices at their doorsteps.
