Nino Salukvadze is a remarkable phenomenon not only in Georgian but also in the history of world sports. His sporting career is a striking example of high talent and hard work, rare professionalism and dedication to his job.
Nino Salukvadze is a participant of nine Olympic Games and a holder of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games license. She is a champion and second prize winner of 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, third prize winner of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, world champion in individual first and six-time champion in team counting, second and third prize winner in individual competition, nine-time winner of the World Super Bowl.
She is a five-time European champion in individual and team counting, two-time second and two-time third prizes, and the second European Games bronze prize. She has set up to twenty world records. Honorary Master of Sports of the USSR, Presidential Excellence, Honorary, Cavalier of Vakhtang Gorgasli II and III Degrees.
Nino Salukvadze is the world’s first and only female sportsman, who has received a license for 10 Olympic Games in a row. For his unique sporting achievements, Nino Salukvadze was the first to be awarded the Emergency Award of the National Olympic Committee of Georgia – “Pride of Georgian Sports.”Â

Nino Salukvadze is a Georgian sports shooter. She is a nine-time Olympian and has won medals on three occasions. At age 19 and competing for the Soviet Union at the 1988 Summer Olympics, she won a gold medal in the women’s 25-metre sporting pistol competition and silver in the women’s 10-metre air pistol competition.Â
