Tbilisi: The anniversary of Georgian actor Erosi Manjgaladze was held in Georgia. The function was attended by the large number of people.
It is to be specifically mentioeend that the anniversary evening of great Georgian actor Erosi Manjgaladze was held in Samtredia Dramatic Theater This theatre is named after Erosi Manzgaladze.
The event was attended by the acting Minister of Culture and Sports of Georgia Tea Tsulukiani,the Mayor of Samtredia Municipality David Bakhtadze local authorities and theatre representatives.
On this occassion Archive material of Erosi Manjgaladze’s work was displayed in the evening. Songs from the actor’s films and plays were performed by “Theatrical Quartet” and Neka Sebiskveradze ensembles also . The concertmaster Nino Guliashvili also perfomred on the occassion.
The evening event was held in the artist’s native villages Samtredia with the participation of the local municipality and the support of businessman Sergo Rukhadze.
Erosi Manjgaladze’s was born in the year of 1925 at Ganiri. He died at the age of 56 in 1982. Erosi Manjgaladze is known for many leading roles and performances as well
He is also known for his leading roles in many Soviet films.Some of the famous films are the wishing trees, melodies of vera Quarter, A necklacce of my Beloved as well.
He has great experience with the best voices in theatre. He lends his voice to many voice-over roles and also works as a sports commentator.
He also covered the news for radio broadcasters during World War I. The performance was enjoyed by the attendees as well other chief guest of the event as well.
Speaking on the occasion key speakers stated that Erosi Manjgaladze’s contibutuion for the Georgian art, culture and music cannot be ignored.
They also said that his life struggle is the source of inspiration for all of us. Erosi Manjgaladze has made the Georgian culture polpuar across the borders as well. Many people attended the performance with their family members.
