The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Georgia has announced a competition to promote private and municipal art schools across the country. As per the available information, the budget for this year’s competition is an amount of 60000 GEL.
The main purpose of the competition is to support the institutional development of private and municipal arts schools by promoting new methodologies and practical activities. It will also be aimed to promote the creative process as well as to motivate students and teachers.
On the other hand the Legal entities registered in Georgia along with private and municipal art schools and organizations that have work experience in the field of art and institutional development of relevant schools have the right to participate in the competition. The contestant can submit only one project at a time.
In the year 2021 the budget of the competition was 50000 GEL. The Ministry of Culture had received 10 tender applications from which four projects were financed. Similarly in 2022 the budget of the competition was 100000 GEL. Meanwhile in 2023 the budget of the competition was 60000 GEL and five projects were financed out of 16 applications.
Competition applications will be received from March 15, 2024, to March 25, 2024 at noon in the form of hard copies at the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Georgia (Address: Tbilisi, Sanapiro St. N4),

Similarly on the other hand information about the winning projects in the competition will be published on the Ministry’s official Facebook page no later than April 4, 2024. The art lovers of the country have expressed their happiness and stated that this will make the Georgian art world famous shortly as well.
