Georgia: A football festival was held on June 8-9, 2024, at Akhaltsikhe Central Stadium, football club Dinamo Tbilisi Football Academy, and Samtshe-Javakheti State Trustee Administration.
Along with the teams of the municipalities of the side, a team of fresh footballers from Akhaltsikhe Sports Union also participated in the sports event.
It should be noted that a memorandum of mutual cooperation has been signed between the A(a)IP “Akhaltsikhe Municipality Sports Association” and the football club “Dinamo Tbilisi” academy. This memorandum outlines a range of sports activities, including training programs, friendly matches, and talent scouting, that will be carried out as part of our collaboration.
As part of the project, Akhaltsikhel coaches Nugzar Bekauri and Valeri Chrelashvili have conducted a special training course and for today 32 Akhal Tsikhel children are training according to the methodology of “Dinamo Tbilisi” football academy.
Football School Director Levan Gvantseladze, Project Manager Gia Isiani, Regional Coordinator Gocha Chikovani, Head of Relations Service with Local Self-Government Authorities of Samtskhe-Javakheti State Trustee Administration Gocha Beridze and Director of A(a)IP “Akhaltsikhe Sports Union” Zigmund Zilberstein were present.
At the end of the event, the teams participating in the football festival were awarded trophies and the online store survey. GE gave training equipment to North athletes as a gift.
Akhaltsikhe Municipality City Hall wishes success to the Akhaltsikhe football team, Dinamo Tbilisi football academy, and serve store. They also thank GE for the attention and consideration it has shown to children.

The central stadium in Akhaltsikhe is the city’s key sports facility, providing opportunities for the practice of a wide range of sports disciplines. It is where football matches of the local club and other teams of the Georgian championship take place. It is also used to host major sporting events, as well as various social events and celebrations.
