Samegrealo: Guram Zesashvili the director of the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs opened a new police building in the Samegrelo region. The new building was constructed in Sajijao of the Khobi Municipality.
Upon his arrival at the new police building the staff gave Guram Zesashvili a warm welcome and apprised him of the services and other people-friendly facilities. It is to be specifically mentioned that new buildings have been built according to modern standards and are equipped with the latest equipment.
Moreover there has been no police building in Sajijao until now. Under the temporary arrangement police officers employed in the department also serve 5 villages of Khobi municipality. The façade of the building was decorated with Georgian and police department flags. The interior of the building is also very attractive which Guram Zesashvili also appreciated during his visit.
The reception area is very wide and there are reception tables and computer tables where the employees can use the computer system. Similarly a waiting room is arranged for the general public who come to the new building for their regular work. The police officer who was present on this occasion added that every effort will be made to provide the best services to the visitors and their routine work will be executed on a priority basis.
At the same time Guram Zesashvili also personally visited all the rooms of the building. He inquired about the challenges being faced by police employees and listened to the staff members present on the occasion about the problems that needed immediate attention.
The building is fully air-conditioned and cold water is also available. Guram Zesashvili after the conclusion of his visit said that the police department is always ready to serve the citizens. According to him all efforts will be made to mitigate the crime rate in the locality and provide a safe environment for the citizens.
