Davit Bakhtadze the Mayor of Samtredia Municipality and Amiran Tevdoradze the head of the supervision service visited the construction site of Bashi culture centre today. They also inspected the cultural house and review the ongoing process.
It is to be added that at this stage the House of Culture of Bashi is being fully rehabilitated and the works are being financed by the local self-government. The construction company “Bini LLC” is also giving the final touch to the almost completed cultural house.
It is worth noting that the building built in the 1960s is being completely reconstructed for the first time since its inception. In the first stage the roof and internal communications were replaced, bathrooms were added and facade rehabilitation works were underway.
The newly rehabilitated house of culture will retain its old function. The Detmoba village dance ensemble will use the building’s rehearsal space, and a folk song group is planned to open there.
Davit Bakhtadze also said on this occasion “Since the village of Bashi is far away from the city of Samtredia, we want to create suitable conditions for talented young people so that they can realize their creative skills as much as possible.”
He also added,“It is for this purpose that we will carry out the complete rehabilitation of the building. The work is being carried out in accordance with the schedule with visual inspection and in the near future we will open the Bashi culture center which will make the local population happy.”
The Samtredia Municipality Hall also shares this information on its social media pages, where it also shares glimpses of the new building.In shared glimpses of the building on social media pages it looks very attractive. The new building will be surrounded by lush green parks and other amenities. There will also be parking space in front of the main building.
The roof sealing work is almost completed, but the painting work is in full swing. The construction company hopes that the remaining work will be completed very soon.
