Tbilisi: The Georgian weather department released the latest updated weather report. The report covers the expected weather for the next three days from August 20 to 22, 2024.
According to the report in the coming days hot and unstable weather is expected in western Georgia and in some regions of eastern Georgia. Due to high temperatures there may be short rain and thunderstorms at the same time in some regions.
According to the report the temperature in the capital city of Tbilisi will be unstable and the air temperature in the afternoon will be +34 and +36 degrees. On the other hand the weather in coastal districts covering Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, and Poti will be hot and uneven. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +32, +34 degrees.
On the other hand in the lower regions of western Georgia which includes the cities of Zestafoni, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, and Ozurgeti there will be hot and unpleasant weather as per the report. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +36, +38 degrees, according to reports.
Meanwhile in the mountainous regions of Western Georgia covering Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo, and Ricoti Pass, Hot and unpleasant weather is expected. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +34, +36 degrees the reports added again.
In the highland regions of Western Georgia covering Mestia, Bakhmaro reports expected unstable weather with air temperatures between +30 and +32 degrees. Similarly in the Kartli region of Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gargabani, Gori, and Tskhinvali due to high temperatures some areas may experience a short rain with lightning.
In the Kakheti region which comprises the Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Signaghi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta, and Dedoplistskaro due to the high temperature some parts may experience mild rain with lightning. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +34- +36 degrees.
The mountainous regions of Eastern Georgia including Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, and Pasanauri due to high temperatures some may experience short rain with lightning. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +33- +35 degrees.
Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri and Omalo are in the highland regions of Eastern Georgia light rain with lightning is possible in some places. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +25- +27 degrees.
