The administration of the Tsalki municipality is working in fu. ll swing to complete the road construction in its jurisdiction. The newly reconstructed roads will connect the villages of Ashkala and Gumbati . It will benifitts of locals of these two villages who are otherwise forced to take the diverse route to reach the hospital and other important offices.
It is to be specifically mentioned that Giorgi Dokhturishvili the State Trustee of Kvemo Kartli visited the work on the road infrastructure project. During the visit to the construction site the Mayor was accompanied by the first Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Ilia Begiashvili. The visiting delegation also included the Mayor of Tsalki Municipality Ilia Sabadze and the Majority Deputy of Bolnisi, Dmanisi, Tetritskaro and Tsalki Gogi Meshveliani.
According to the latest information available so far from the representatives of the municipalities under the project 4 kilometers of road surface of local importance and drainage channels are being arranged. This will significantly improve the commuting process and upon completion more than 2,000 beneficiaries will be able to benefit directly or indirectly from the improved road infrastructure.
It is to be noted that the road construction work is being financed by the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure. In addition to the funds from the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure 3000000 from the local budget will also be used for the same.
Deputy Ilia Jalaghania and other representatives of the local government along with the trustee also inspected the works on the spot. The locals had long demanded that the reconstruction work be completed so that they could enjoy free movement without any hurdles.
The new road is wide so that travellers will not experience any further problems in their daily journey. As disclosed by the official the whole road will be made of concrete which will prolong its life.
