The Rustavi municipality is implementing new development projects. These include rehabilitating central streets and recreational places and renovating infrastructure projects.
The Mayor of Rustavi city hall visited the construction sites of various projects to review the progress of the work. She also interacted with the representatives of the construction companies.
At the construction site while speaking further on the projects Nino Latsabidze said that “the development project will not only include the rehabilitation of the central streets; rather we are placing great emphasis on the development of inner neighborhood spaces as well.”
According to the Mayor of Rustavi this is another infrastructure project being implemented with the participation of the population of these areas. According to information made public by the municipality administration the new recreational and public space being organized in the inner yard of residential buildings N46, 47, and 48 of the 14th micro-district is under construction with the help and financing of Rustavi City Hall.
City Mayor Nino Latsabidze and Irakli Shatakishvili Majority Deputy of Rustavi in the Parliament of Georgia together with members of the Sakrebulo faction “Georgian Dream” visited the site and got acquainted with the project’s progress on the spot in a working format.
Last year the mayor of Rustavi Nino Latsabidze presented two projects to the local population and the project that was preferred by the population was financed from Rustavi’s budget.
The project envisages the arrangement of footpaths, green spaces a children’s playground a sports and recreation corner, outdoor lighting and a parking area. At the population’s request two different projects were created to beautify the area. At the same time as the internal district square the drainage network and the internal district road are also being constructed as requested by the district.
The Mayor and other member of the visiting delegation inspected the site plans on this occasion and detected the company representative’s intent to complete the work early. The company has engaged heavy machinery and a workforce to complete the remaining task as soon as possible.
