Georgia: The regular session and scientific conference of the “International Academy of Sciences” were held on August 31, 2024, in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
Professor Vakhtang Maisaia will represent Georgia at the International Academic Forum.
By the decision of the highest body of the Academy, on behalf of the Azerbaijani section, Professor of the Caucasus International University and Member of the Academic Council, Head of the English Master’s Program, “Global Policy and Security Studies,” Doctor of Political Science, Vakhtang Maisaia, has been selected as a Member, Correspondent of the Academy. He has a certificate of membership and has passed a tailor Design.
It should be noted that the “International Academy of Sciences” was founded in 1982, and it has a high international scientific and academic status.
At the conference held in Baku, the professor and already a member-correspondent of the Academy made a special English-language presentation on the topic: “Factor Globalization in Climate Change Geopolitics and Its Implication on Regional Security Provisions on Case of the Caucasus-Caspian Region” and with other members of the Academy presented an international collective monograph published in Austria, “Science” Under the auspices of the International Academy, titled: “Science Without Borders”” (Volume#7 2023 – ISSN 2070-0334)”.
This publication, which its high Impact Factor distinguishes, included its scientific article: “The Geoeconomic Implications on the South Caucasus Regional Security Provisions: “Middle Transit Corridor” and Its Geopolitical Development.”
In addition, a Special International Organizing Committee was formed at the Baku meeting. It was appointed by the representatives of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences and considers the formation of the “International Academy of Sciences of Asia.”
Professor Vakhtang Maisaia, who will represent Georgia at the forum, was elected as the International Adviser of the mentioned committee in the field of science.
At the same time, at the next session of the “International Academy of Sciences,” Alika Guchua, Associate Professor of the Caucasus International University, will be presented to the Academy’s Youth Scientific Committee.
