Georgia: The Ministry of Sport provided sports equipment to the sports institutions and clubs of Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, and Lentekhi municipalities.
The Georgian Ministry of Culture and Sports has started transferring the sports equipment and equipment purchased for highland municipalities. Visits indicated that municipalities had a shortage and urgent need for proper sporting equipment while existing inventory and equipment were often damaged and needed replacement. The current situation would negatively affect the quality of training, increase the risk of injuries, and impede the development of the sport. Sports schools and institutions need a unique sports inventory and equipment daily.
Based on the analysis of the monitoring results, the Ministry has asked “SportsmenService” Ltd to buy the appropriate sports equipment for the sportsmen. Within the budget allocated by the Ministry, the company purchased 3 788 620 GEL of different sports equipment and equipment for sports schools and institutions in 25 municipalities and sports federations, a total of 8 355 units. Notably, this project is unprecedented, and it is the first time to monitor needs and supply inventory to highland municipalities.
Inventory and equipment for each municipality were selected after the agreement with the sports institutions and clubs in the city, and the needs of coaches and their students were studied. Thus, Ambrolauri Wrestling Club Palawan received wrestling mats, CrossFit ropes, training vests, wrestling fins, and bags. Gymnastic chairs, paddles, field markers, exercise rubber, benches, and basketball balls were given to A(a)ip Ambrolauri Sports School. A(a)ip Ambrolauri Municipality Football Club Racha Ministry purchased soccer balls, racks, goalkeeper gloves, training rubber, football nets, and field markers.
Oni Municipality Children’s and Adult Sports School Complex has been provided with wrestling mats, wrestling mats, table tennis tables, table tennis hoops, basketball lanterns, basketball balls, basketball trampolines, volleyball balls, volleyball uniforms, rackets, goalie gloves, CrossFit ropes, gym vests, exercise rubber bands, bar weights, pancakes I and the dumbbells, passed on. Oni Municipality Football School Mamison received soccer balls, nets, and field markings.
A wrestling mat, table tennis table, basketball lanterns, basketball nets, basketball trampolines, boxing bags, boxing gloves, rugby balls, and kimonos were purchased for A(A)IP Tsageri Complex Sports School.

According to necessity, the union of Lentekhi Municipality Sports School received Tatami, Crossfit ropes, exercise elastic bands, a Swedish wall, kimonos, Georgian wrestling clubs, volleyball uniforms, volleyball balls, volleyball nets, crutches, weights, and dumbbells. Lentekhi Olympic Training Center, named after A(a)ip Oleg Liparteliani, received arm wrestling tables, football nets, and basketball balls.
It is noteworthy that sports inventory in municipalities will be used by the educators of sports institutions, if necessary, and by the members of the senior and national essay. Sports inventory and equipment will be distributed to municipalities and federations.
