Group of opposition parties “Coalition for Change” produce evidence of election fraud

Tbilisi: The Coalition for Change a group made up of Georgian opposition parties, has produced evidence of election fraud. The coalition of the parties includes the names of Girchi-more Freedom and Dora parties and Ahali parties.

Since the election process was completed in Georgia, there have been many demands to conduct a re-election in the country. All the opposition parties, some non-governmental organizations  and civil society organizations have claimed that the Georgian Dream party is responsible for large-scale election rule violations.

It is also worth noting that the President of Georgia refused to recognize the election results due to fraud. The main parties of coalton are those who secured maximum votes in recently election.

On this occasion one of the main leader of the opposition parties, Zurab Japaridze gave a specific document reflecting the election fraud. The coalition also addressed a press conference. Once again, the opposition leaders raised concern about the illegal measures adopted by the ruling party of Georgia, the “Georgian Dream.”

Some of the serious allegations that were shared by the key speaker on this occasion are as follows:

1. The election was not declared as fair and free by any organization of international level or other partner
2. The results of elections in exit polls were different in each exit poll
3. The secrecy of the ballot was violated at the highest scale
4. The threat and other illegal methods adopted by Georgian Dream did not let anyone express their free will in the form of votes
5. They also blamed the difference between voter turnout and their choice, election results etc.                                                                                                                           All the people demanded that the elections be investigated to defeat the county’s current political problems on a large scale. Zurab Japaridze also added that many voters were asked about the choice they wanted to make. It is totally wrong to ask someone whether they will mark the ballot paper or not.

In the end all officials of the coalition once again demanded that due to the pressure of the ruling party a large scale of fraud damaged the nature of the fair process. He also added that the investigation  is the needs of hour.
