Georgia: First Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports of Georgia Shalva Gogoladze met members and coaches of the Georgian under-18 rugby team at the Shevardenithe Shevardeni base.

Shalva Gogoladze congratulated the rugby players on winning the title of “Rugby Europe” champion for the sixth time in a row and wished them success. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Georgian Rugby Union.

It is remembered that this year for the first time in history junior “Borjghalosni” competed at the Six Nations Festival of Under 18. The team also took part in the South Africa Under 18 international series.

The rugby players signed the team’s T-shirt, which will be given to the Georgian Sports Museum in celebration of “Rugby on Europe”‘s victory. They remind the public that the Ministry of Sports was established on the custom that, following victory in significant international tournaments, Georgian athletes will sign their sporting goods and inventory for the Sports Museum.
