Tbilisi, Georgia: The Mayor of Georgia’s capital Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze participated in the opening ceremony of Archi’s First Branded Hotel,” IBIS Tbilisi City” in the Ortachala district of Tbilisi.
Tbilisi City Hall also shared the snippets of the opening event on its official Facebook on February 12, 2025, Wednesday. The City Hall also shared the details about the new hotel.
At the opening Ceremony, Kakha Kaladze addressed the participants with a welcome speech. In his speech, the minister cited, “I also want to congratulate all of the Georgians and visitors who will be working and serving here starting today.” “As the capital’s mayor, I’m happy to see such significant projects being carried out in our lovely city, ” he added.
According to Kakha Kaladze, this project will be another significant extension of the line that can enhance tourism, which is what makes our country and city unique and attracts many visitors.
On this occasion, the mayor in his speech also noted that this project generated employment opportunities for people and the total budget amount spent on the project was 45 million GEL.
Tbilisi’s mayor commented, “We are concerned about the nation’s economic progress. We stood by and supported the business, and we will continue to do so.”
It is noteworthy that, another hotel – “IBIS Tbilisi City” (ibis Tbilisi City), will be served to the guests of the capital city, which is located in the historical district, Ortachala, and is listed as number 156.
The City Hall of Tbilisi mentioned that the hotel project was worked on and managed by “Archi Hospitality”, which is a company in the developing company “Archi” holding. The Mayor highlighted the prospect of the Capital City, Tbilisi attracting tourism to the country as well.
