In the village of Natanebi which falls in Ozurgeti Municipality, the Japareuli – Akhalsheni road is being fully rehabilitated. The construction work for other roads in municipality is under way also.
The project is being implemented with the funding of the Regional Projects Fund and the Municipality City Hall. Ozurgeti Mayor Avtandil Talakvadze, together with his deputies Giorgi Ghurjumelidze, Nika Bolkvadze and members of the City Council inspected the ongoing works.
While inspecting the work at site Mayor share future of municipality. As per mayor the serious of development work will continue in future as well.
As per the Mayor “We promised the public and are fulfilling our promise – we are fully rehabilitating the Japareuli – Akhalsheni road in the village of Natanebi. We will complete the works, within the framework of which a 4,900-meter-long road is being constructed, entrances to the yards and drainage channels will be built by the end of the year.”
It is worth to note that the total amount of project budget is 2,467,933 GEL. In addition to the road rehabilitation, the construction of the water supply system has already been completed.
“On behalf of Ozurgeti, I would like to thank the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure for supporting our municipality,” said Avtandil Talakvadze.
He also said that we are always committed for over all development of work of each and every part of municipality. The developmental woks will be without any partiality or discrimination.
It is worth to note that this was a pending demand of local population to make the conditions of road better. The mayor also on this interacted with the members of construction company and urged them to finish pending work as soon as possible also.
