Georgia: The Deputy Ministers of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Tamar Ghvamichava and Ana Mghebrishvili hosted the Director of International Projects of the European Management Development Fund (EFMD) and International Projects Manager Jean-Baptiste Malliard on April 28, 2025, Monday.
The Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia shared glimpses of their meeting on its Official Facebook page on the same day along with some details related to the event.
According to the details provided by the Education Ministry of Georgia, it should be noted that the parties discussed, implemented, and planned activities within the framework of the EU-funded Erasmus+ CBHE grant project – “Promoting high-quality digital education in Georgia” (PRODIGE).
At the meeting, the deputy ministers talked about the importance of the project and noted that each activity conducted within PRODIGE will contribute to strengthening the institutional capacity of Georgian universities in terms of digital learning, learning, and assessment practices.
The main objectives of the PRODIGE project are: to support the Georgian Ministry of Education, Science and Youth in the direction of the development of digital education policy and implementation reforms; and to establish quality assurance mechanisms that will be in line with European standards.
A consortium was created within PRODIGE, whose goal is to improve digital education systems in Georgia.
