The Kutaisi International University (KIU) shared glimpses of the exhibition on its official Facebook page on May 31, 2025. The university also shared some information about the event, along with the photographs.
Kutaisi International University was presented at the exhibition by KIU International Relations Manager Giorgi Pipia, who actively participated in meetings with international partners during the exhibition.
At the exhibition, Georgia was presented with the project – Education In Georgia, which unites state and private higher education institutions. At the event, Georgian universities, besides increasing their awareness, had the unique opportunity to expand international cooperation and seek potential partners, which in turn, will contribute to the internationalization of higher education in Georgia.
Education in Georgia space observers got to know KIU’s possibilities and diverse student life on the spot. Receiving comprehensive information about educational programs, they visited KIU’s ultra-modern university city through VR glasses.
It is important that in NAFSA 2025, up to 10 thousand delegates from more than 100 countries participated and the purpose of the exhibition was to promote the connection of educational institutions with international partners around the world.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia has been implementing the project Education in Georgia since 2016, which promotes the development of international connections of Georgian universities and supports the mobility of the staff of students and higher educational institutions.
It should also be noted that in recent years, Georgia has hosted numerous international education fairs, including the International Education Fair Tbilisi Georgia, which connects institutions with students and families seeking higher education and K-12 options. These fairs are valuable platforms for both students and institutions to explore opportunities and connect with potential partners.
